Explore and Learn
We have officially completed the first bimester of 2026! Our 370 students explored new ideas, completed hand-on projects, and improved their English and math skills. From science experiments to interactive workshops, every activity helped students explore, learn, play and grow.
-HIGHLIGHT EVENT –
Honoring Maya Wisdom
During a special visit, Raxché Rodríguez, Director of Maya Wuj and a cultural leader and promoter of the Kaqchikel Maya people, shared the wisdom of the Haab’, the Mayan solar calendar, a reflection of the Maya people’s profound understanding of time and harmony with nature.
This meaningful experience goes hand in hand with the Meso Maya Program, which seeks to strengthen cultural identity, honor ancestral knowledge, and inspire students to move forward with purpose, rooted in their heritage.
At Meso Foundation, moments like these nurture pride, belonging, and a deeper connection to the wisdom of the Maya people.

Volunteers in Action

At Colegio Mesoamericano, we warmly welcome visitors as volunteers. This month, four volunteers from Utah spent a meaningful morning mentoring our students and engaging them in conversations with native English speakers.
Experiences like these build confidence, strengthen communication skills, and create meaningful cultural connections. We are always grateful to open our doors to those who wish to share their time and inspire our students.
